Poutama works in partnership with Crown entities to help grow successful and sustainable Māori enterprise.
Specifically, Poutama has partnered with MBIE to deliver programmes, projects, share information and key insights on the Māori economy and Pakihi. This extends to:
- delivery of the Poutama-led ‘Poutama ki te Taumata: Accelerating Māori enterprise development programme’ (also known as the PGF Programme) in partnership with MBIE’s Kānoa (between November 2020-August 2021).
- identifying regional Pakihi Māori investment opportunities (via MBIE’s Regional Strategic Partnership Fund)
- climate change mitigation and adaption for the Māori economy with MBIE’s Transitions Strategy team
- the Future of Work Tripartite Forum: Māori future of work aspirations.
