Amy has over 15 year’s experience working with Māori in Small Business and is a strong advocate for Māori led regional economies and development, supporting businesses to grow, thrive, and gain wealth in business knowledge.  She has worked in various sectors, including Education, Aviation, Social Services and Tourism and has been involved with various Iwi/Hapū and Community governance and advisory rōpū.  At present, Amy is the Programme Manager for Puna Pākihi, Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu and a Growth Advisor for Poutama covering Te Wai Pounamu.  Seeing people succeed in their business, careers and lives is monumental to her and because of her cultural and whānau orientated up-bringing, working for people has always been one of her passions.
