This year the Biennial Awards acknowledged resilience, collaboration and business success across the Otago, Southland and Queenstown Lakes District economies.

Poutama was privileged to support the Awards and sponsor the Emerging Enterprise Category.  Reigning Downs Hauora Centre (Waihopai/Invercargill) won the category for its innovative approach to delivering health services that involves using unique therapeutic methods to support people – especially rangatahi – to heal and thrive.  Reigning Downs Hauora was acknowledged for the passion with which it incorporates Māori values into health therapy for its clients.

Several Poutama clients were finalists in the Awards, and Niche Design & Construction (Hāwea) won the Employment & Growth Award.

Trailblazing Māori ‘edutainment’ business, Farm 4 Life took out the supreme award.
