Experts from the MacDiarmid Institute are here to help. They have offered their time and some funding for interesting research projects which help with technical problems (or opportunities) for Poutama businesses.
The MacDiarmid Institute includes about 200 physicists, chemists and engineers at Universities and research institutes throughout New Zealand. They specialise in materials science – for example, they can help on projects involving sensors, electronic materials, chemistry, soft materials, and energy applications.
To take advantage of this offer, please go directly to Geoff Willmott g.willmott@auckland.ac.nz who is in charge of industry engagement in the MacDiarmid Institute. Projects can be discussed informally, and non-disclosure agreements can be put in place if your idea is commercially sensitive.
