Callaghan Innovation is supporting businesses with taking their world-leading innovation to market with their Ārohia Innovation Trailblazer Seed Grant.
The fund has been designed for businesses at an earlier stage of market readiness, who still have untested assumptions or knowledge gaps regarding their innovation. Innovations can be a product, process, service, business model or combination of these.
It offers funding of up to $25,000 on a 50/50 co-funding basis to help with:
- market validation (assessing whether a market opportunity exists for the proposed innovation);
- early-stage prototype testing to support undertaking an initial evaluation of whether the innovation might be possible; and
- obtaining professional and technical advice and services that enable the business to develop evidence to support whether the proposed innovation represents an opportunity.
