Te Whītau Tūhono – The Asia New Zealand Foundation is offering up to eight places for emerging Māori creative business leaders to be part of a funded delegation to China in July 2024.

Te Whītau Tūhono have committed to another Pakihi Māori delegation, this time it will be a creative business study tour to China at the end of July.

This is a funded delegation – to support emerging Māori entrepreneurs and business leaders in the creative industries – with a focus on game development and digital storytelling.

It is an opportunity to upskill and gain exposure to one of the world’s largest markets, and a major trendsetter in the creative industry and design norms across wider Asia.

This haerenga is a chance to share Māori culture and demonstrate how it shines through our unique approach to business and work – especially in the creative industries.

It is aimed at those who may not have engaged with Asia or joined business delegations previously.  Priority will be given to those who have not been funded on similar Foundation delegations before.
