Manawa Udy

Ngahere Communities have created Manukau’s very first co-working, events and maker space, designed for social entrepreneurs, creators and changemakers, led with tikanga Māori and polynesian flair.  Ngahere at Te Haa, is a new home for the ingenuity and creativity that’s bubbling under the surface of Aotearoa.

Located in the heart of the Manukau CBD, the doors to this courageous new space open in early September, and Ngahere Communities will cultivate a thriving, interwoven and connected community that fills this new whare, and breathes life into the city and our people.

Working in partnership with The Southern Initiative, Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development and GridAKL, Ngahere are calling on fellow Māori businesses, social enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs from South Auckland and across the motu to join the community and be a part of the space.

To bring Ngahere at Te Haa to life they are raising $65,000 through a Tā Koha crowdfunding campaign – a collective effort where those that believe in their kaupapa of enhancing creativity and innovation through collaboration can play a part in making it happen.

“You can’t row a hearty waka on your own.”
