To kick off 2024 the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce has big news to share!  As part of the Regional Recovery and Resilience funding package announced by Government in September, they’re expanding their services through the Regional Business Partner Network (RBP).

The Chamber advocated to Government for an expansion of services available through RBP to offer support for businesses to access valuable resources and expertise to navigate the path towards success, and expanding these services to include recovery is a vital step towards impacted businesses building back better.

Businesses participating in the programme may be eligible for funding to undergo training or coaching with service providers, offering an additional layer of support and expertise to further enhance their recovery journey.

Business owners can register on the RBP website and will be invited to schedule a free 30-60 minute discovery session with a dedicated Growth Advisor.  During these sessions, businesses will engage in a constructive conversation, allowing the advisor to take a bird’s eye view of their operations, performance, and overall business health.

Growth Advisors will work collaboratively with businesses to determine the best strategies for promoting resilience in financial performance, well-being measures, and continuity planning.  This personalised approach aims to address the unique challenges faced by each business and empower them to emerge stronger.

This programme will run from 1st February 2024 to 30th June 2025, or earlier if funds run out.  The expansion of RBP services is exclusive to Hawke’s Bay and can only be utilised by businesses primarily based within the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council boundaries.

Karla Lee, CEO of the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce, expressed, “our local business community has experienced considerable difficulty, not only through the Cyclone itself but the reverberations are still being felt by many.  By extending our support through the RBP programme, we aim to provide a comprehensive and tailored approach to help businesses rebuild, adapt, and thrive.”

This initiative signifies the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a resilient and thriving business community in the face of unexpected challenges.  All affected businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity for support and growth.
