The new cohort of SheEO NZ Ventures was announced this week with a LIVE online celebration to meet the successful Ventures! The SheEO community from around the world all joined the call to watch.
It was a historic moment for the SheEO New Zealand community as 60% of the 2020 cohort is Māori and 36% of all applicants this year were Māori.
Poutama are excited to announce that 3 Māori wāhine led businesses are part of this year’s successful ventures – our very own Kiri Nathan from Kiri Nathan Ltd & Kāhui Collective, Candice Pardy from Jobloads and Kylie & Michelle from AWWA.
Kiri Nathan Ltd – KIRI NATHAN is committed to building the first Māori Fashion industry and for this to become a reality through community, ethical practice and cultural integrity.
Jobloads – Jobloads is a digital solution that removes the friction workers and businesses experience when they work on temporary jobs together.
AWWA – Using the latest fabric technology AWWA period proof underwear provides a sustainable alternative to all other menstrual products and revolutionises period management worldwide.
Thanks to the Radical Generosity of SheEO New Zealand Activators, the 5 newly selected Ventures will now receive funding and support to help them grow their businesses and impact.
