Food Entrepreneurs – Are you wanting to take your food business from starting out to stepping up? Are you ready to grow but running into challenges?

The Kitchen Project is inspired by La Cocina in San Francisco – one of the most successful kitchen incubators in the United States.  It aims to enhance Auckland’s foodscape by supporting the development of food and beverage with a focus on culture, healthy food and sustainable business practices.

In association with ATEED, Panuku Development Auckland and Healthy Families, Panuku Commercial Place Operations Manager Connie Clarkson is leading the project and believes it will serve a significant purpose amongst local food entrepreneurs and the food industry within the West Auckland community.

The programme was built to support successful applicants and their businesses throughout a six week induction, followed by a twenty week development programme in the hope of uplifting the business from it’s current status and equipping them with the tools they need to run a succesful, sustainable business moving forward into the future.

It is envisioned that The Kitchen Project will provide an opportunity for those who would not have access to food business support, including but not limited to Youth and the migrant communities of those areas.
