Poutama is proud to support Māori owned and operated Two Tides Bakery.

Two Tides Bakery is a bold and busy little bakery managed and owned by Stacey Buchanan (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Kura & Waihua) and Jenniffer Kagaoan.  It is based at the top of the township in Tairua on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula.

Stacey and Jenniffer believe a thriving main street strengthens their community.  Their aim remains the same as the day they started – ‘to always be at the forefront of excellence and be the friendliest and most welcoming faces in Tairua for every customer who comes through their doors!’

Two Tides Bakery has a multicultural team, with each member bringing their own little ‘je ne sais quoi’ to the business.  Collectively, they make sure everyone who enters their bakery experiences the ‘Good Vibes’ at Two Tides.  The bakery is renowned for its cheeky banter, good tunes and madcap singing and laughter.  Two Tides Bakery brings smiles all-round when people check out their quirky signs, photo wall, photography and the beautiful arty menu board.

Stacey and Jenniffer love being a part of their community, enjoy business networking and contributing to their local sports teams, school and events.

Recently, Two Tides Bakery was selected as one of the businesses to take part in the first Coromandel Goodness Sustainability Business Programme and was finalist and runner-up for the Hospitality Category for the Hauraki-Coromandel Business Awards.
