You are invited you to attend a workshop in your region.
These workshops are part of the nationally focused Sheep and Goat Dairy Project, funded through the Provincial Growth Fund, to grow the New Zealand sheep and goat milk industry.
We are inviting all stakeholders including iwi, farmers, processors and marketers, who are interested in sheep and goat dairying.
Come along if you would like to:
- Learn more about the potential market opportunities for sheep and goat milk products;
- Hear about the Sheep and Goat Dairy Project, including anticipated outcomes and timelines;
- Share your knowledge and experience with others; and/or
- Get involved in an action group to transform the industry within their region.To start with we are wanting to understand the situation in each region, who’s interested, what the aspirations are, current knowledge and capabilities, as well as barriers that need to be overcome to grow the sector. In time, we will be able to provide robust information on the export opportunities for high value products, as well as the farm supply and infrastructure requirements needed to meet the market demand.
Register to attend a workshop via sheepandgoatmilk.nz.
