Last month we profiled Tā Koha and gave an overview of what crowdfunding is, so this month we wanted to celebrate the launch of Tā Koha which happened at the end of August.
Tā Koha is a crowdfunding platform and supportive education programme co-created by Māori Women’s Development and PledgeMe. The launch was a gathering that marked the beginning of something special. Let’s keep the movement flowing together.
Here’s the current live Tā Koha campaigns:
- Ngahere Communities: Manukau’s newest entrepreneurial space
- Rauaawaa Kaumatua Trust: Keeping up with the Kaumatua
- Tolaga Bay Innovation: A Technology & Tourism hub in our historical country pub
Asking for putea is difficult. Any support that you can give by pledging and by sharing the campaigns with three people that you know, who will be excited about the kaupapa, will be hugely appreciated. All contributions big and small are so valuable to each of the Tā Koha Bunch’s causes.
It’s been brilliant hearing the stories of how some are already contributing to and creating new opportunities for one or more of the Bunch.

Haere mai to the Tā Koha crowd!
