MWDI Māori Businesswomen’s Awards 2023

Poutama was proud to support the MWDI Business Awards with our sponsorship of the Te Pōiketanga (Emerging Business) Category.

Alongside MWDI, we’ve a solid reputation of supporting Wāhine Māori-led economic development.  Across Aotearoa, we see the contribution that this economic development has for wāhine, whānau and hapori whānui.

Te Pōiketanga is about acknowledging a new and emerging wave of wāhine enterprise and entrepreneurship.

Overall, there were 18 categories (19 if the Supreme Award is counted).  Several of our clients were finalists (GO Media; HINE Collection; Marsden Cove Dental; ŌKU; Pursuit NZ & Waiapu Road), five went onto win 8 of the business category awards, including the Supreme Award (Go Media).
